Time to think of the Easter dessert... with chocolate, what else?! Two peas and their pod recently proposed an Easter nest recipe... So cute and so yummy, for children or grown-ups, truly I couldn't resist!! I just made a few changes, particularly by using a dark chocolate ganache instead of a hazelnut spread pasta.

Easter coconut and chocolate ganache nests
Makes 10 nests:
190 ml sweetened condensed milk
1 egg white
½ tsp vanilla powder
1 pinch salt
200g grated coconut
80g dark chocolate
100ml cream
1 tsp sugar
1tsp butter
Small chocolate or nougatine eggs, or Easter candies to decorate
Preaheat the oven to 160°C (325°F). In a bowl, mix thoroughly the condensed milk, egg white, vanilla and salt, and stir in the grated coconut. Mix well.
On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, place heaps of dough (about 2 tblsp) and with moist fingers, form them into the shape of little nests. Press down the center. Bake for 17-18mn, or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven, press down the center again and cool on a wire rack.
To make the chocolate ganache, bring the cream, butter and sugar to the boil and remove from fire. Pour in the dark chocolate in small pieces and set aside for 5mn, then stir well. Cool for about 15mn before filling the nests with the ganache and decorate with the eggs. Store in a cool place. Happy Easter!
